Welcome to St. Ninian's Craigmailen Church Linlithgow

Saint Ninian's Craigmailen Parish Church Brochure Cover © Saint Ninian's Craigmailen Parish Church At St Ninian’s Craigmailen Parish Church our congregation has a membership of about 500, and it serves a parish of 5500 on the west side of Linlithgow. It has a number of organisations about which you will find information on the following pages.

The congregation runs a crèche, a Sunday school, and Buzz for young children, those who are at primary, and teenagers, respectively. They meet every Sunday, and Buzz meets on a Tuesday night too. In addition, during the summer we run a Holiday Club for primary age children. The congregation has Girls Brigade Company too, and this is for girls who are interested in uniformed organisations with a specifically Christian ethos.

If you like singing, we have a church choir that is always looking for new members. The choir helps lead worship every Sunday, and it sings anthems on special occasions such as Easter and Christmas. In addition, Spectrum, our singing and entertainment group, is always on the lookout for new members. It sings a broader range of songs including popular music as well as hymns.

The Guild and Young Women’s Group provide a focus for the more social activities of church life, and you will find details of each on the following pages.

Those of you who are interested in worship and Christian discipleship may find that our prayer and praise groups interest you. In addition, we hold study groups for those who are interested in learning more about the Christian faith.

At St Ninian’s Craigmailen, we do not forget that Christ has called us to serve and show God’s love to the world. As part of this, we have Chatterbox, which is a Parents and Toddlers group, and it is open to everyone whether they are members of our congregation or not.

As a policy, the congregation of St Ninian’s Craigmailen Parish Church supports, and has fully implemented, the Church of Scotland’s guidelines regarding child protection and vulnerable adults. Its leaders and volunteers who provide support for our organisations have undergone SCRO checks and have completed the required training in these areas.
